2012 Education Excellence Award

In keeping with the ongoing drive for developing the industry's capability, Dairy Australia, in partnership with the National Centre for Dairy Education Australia (NCDEA) award the Dairy Australia Education Excellence prize each year.

This award is presented to the most outstanding final year student in the Diploma of Dairy Manufacturing.

The winner of 2012 Dairy Australia Education Excellence Award is:

Paul Robb.

Paul started working with Fonterra Australia in 1994 and over the last 18 years has worked in the cheese shred plant at Corrorooke (Vic) progressing to Team Leader and supervisory roles.

Paul has completed the Diploma of Food Science and Technology with the NCDEA. As a mature age student returning to study, Paul's personal commitment to his studies is evidenced by excellent outcomes in both his academic results and his development in workplace capability.

While Paul invested personal time and effort in his studies, the investment of the Fonterra and the Corrooke site cannot be overstated. In supporting Paul through time off the job and encouraging his studies, Fonterra has made a solid investment in workforce development that has already shown dividends.

Dairy Australia congratulates Paul on winning the Education Excellence Award.
