Chateau Yering’s Head Chef Mathew Macartney defines his chosen cuisine as contemporary Australian cuisine sourcing the finest produce available. Before arriving at Chateau Bering Mathew trained at Hotel Sofitel under Raymond Capaldi and Marcus Moore and spent nine years at the award-winning Lake House in Daylesford, Victoria. Mathew has been an AGDA judge since 2008.
