For eligible entry to the Australian Grand Dairy Awards products must be awarded gold medal status in one of the nominated qualifying competitions, detailed below, throughout the year.
Category and Class Details 2012
The awards comprise of 20 product classes, grouped into two categories - Cheese and Dairy products.
The winner of each class is awarded a Gold Champion medal with the two highest scoring products across classes in both the Cheese and Dairy product categories awarded a Grand Champion royal blue medal.
Manufacturers may display these medals on packaging, advertising and point of sale materials for a period of three years from the date of announcement upon execution of a license agreement.
