Feed Ingredients

Traditionally the Australian dairy cow has been offered a limited number of feed sources based mainly upon pasture.  In recent years, however, there have been marked changes in the feeding systems adopted by dairy farmers in Australia, due largely to climatic changes and drought.  Consequently, the diet for today’s dairy cows often comprises many different feed ingredients.
