Objectives

Analyse and identify gaps and initiate projects to address the dairy Industry’s skills ad capability needs. 

3 year plan focus

  • Key focus areas: People Strategy Development, an increased focus on safety through the Safety on Farm initiative.
  • Activities, programs and tools from the Stepping Up/ Stepping Back  pilot will progressively be translated into DA programs.
  • Planning to consider key trends:  Corporatisation, farm investment requirements, larger farms and the consequential effect on the people and capability requirements for the industry.
