Need/isue:

Highly volatile and active policy environments can negatively impact on the perceived value and consumption of dairy foods. A coordinated industry response will achieve the best outcome for the industry. Nutrition science is continuously evolving and an appropriate method to translate and deliver it to key influencers is required.

Program objective:

Ensure that the Government, other decision makers, key influencers are fully informed with regard to the health benefits of dairy. Ensure that developments in health and nutrition issues with a potential to impact on dairy food consumption or value perceptions are identified and managed effectively.
