Dairy Australia is pleased to announce they have signed on as the major supporting partner of the 2010 Australian Dairy Conference.

The conference, which features a range of well-renowned speakers, interactive talks, farm visits and workshops, will be held in Wollongong from 23–26 February.

The theme ‘See Change; Sea Change’ is inspired by the current challenges facing the dairy industry and the need to seek different ways of doing things in order to overcome these hurdles.

ADC programming committee Chair James McKinnon said the conference would have something for everyone.

“It’s a remarkable opportunity to benefit from your peers and to exchange ideas and information in a manner that will send you home in a positive frame of mind, reenergised to take on the challenges ahead.

“I know personally that I have experienced that mind shift after attending previous ADC events. They are good for the mind and spirit!

“We are so pleased that Dairy Australia has come on board as our major supporting partner once again, and thank them for their vital contribution.”

Key topics to be covered at the conference include:

  • Insight from international dairy visionaries
  • Taking control of risks
  • Herd management
  • Sustainability
  • Carbon and climate change
  • New technology

The conference will also feature visits to local dairy farms, including Australia’s largest family-owned dairy farm, a welcome function and an industry dinner.
