All dairy farmers who pay dairy levy or who have dairy levy deducted from the proceeds of their milk sales are encouraged to become Group A members of Dairy Australia and have a say in the direction of Dairy Australia and the election of our Directors.

At 30 June 2007, Dairy Australia had 12,188 Group A members who represent 64.43% of active dairy enterprises.

Dairy farmers who wish to become members can do so by calling the Dairy Australia Memberline 1800 004 377.

Group B membership covers the industry’s peak representative organisations (Australian Dairy Farmers Ltd and the Australian Dairy Products Federation). Group B members are involved in the development of Dairy Australia’s Strategic Plans and our Annual Operational Plans.
