For centuries, chefs have appreciated butter for its ability to add taste, texture and richness to so many of the foods we enjoy.

Butter is an excellent and versatile ingredient that adds gloss and body to many foods. When chilled and added to pastry it gives a crisp short result. At room temperature and beaten with sugar it forms the base of many cakes and gives that delicious flavour while trapping in lots of air when beaten. Not only is butter a great cooking ingredient, it also makes simple food such as the humble mashed potato, steamed carrots, freshly baked muffins or even hot toast taste great.

Australian butter is rich and creamy, with no need to add colourings.  The golden colour comes from the milk used, which is produced by pasture fed cows.
