North East Women's Discussion Group Bus Tour

Join others as the North East Women's discussion group enjoys a bus tour before school holidays start (and calving starts). Leaving the Scottsdale Football grounds at 8:45am we will be travelling to visit Joe and Tamara Hammond in the Tamar Valley. Joe & Tamara have recently converted a run-off block and are in their second season on the farm. We will spend some time with them hearing about their journey from Joe's family farm at Legana to where they are now and the "fun" they have had along the way with the conversion.

After visiting Joe and Tamara the group will continue on to a joint lunch and a factory tour with the Central North Women's Discussion Group at the Western Tiers Distillery in Westbury. This will be a great chance to meet others in the industry and hear what they have been up to in the past 12 months.

The bus will then be back in Scottsdale between 4 & 4:30pm.

Please note - the bus, lunch and factory tour will be covered, but drinks and any whiskey tasting will be at your own cost.
