The Farm Environmental Tracker is an online tool that supports dairy farm businesses with assessing and improving environmental practices. The tool works to:
- Assess the current environmental practices of a dairy farm business to identify improvement opportunities.
- Evaluate farm environmental performance by benchmarking against other dairy farms using the online tool.
- Develop, share and track progress with an action plan for improving farm environmental management.
The Farm Environmental Tracker (FET) workshop is a two-day program designed to help farmers assess and improve the environmental performance of their farm systems.
Day 1 will focus on understanding and using the FET tool.
Day 2 will take place on-farm, showcasing best practice examples of sustainability in the context of efficient and profitable production systems.
The second day will be hosted on a local farm (location after registration), providing a practical opportunity to observe and discuss key areas such as Multispecies, agroforestry, sustainable energy, biodiversity etc.,
