Practical support for managing drought and dry seasonal conditions

25 June 2025

Dairy Australia has launched an online drought support series – a set of interactive webinars designed to support dairy farmers managing drought and dry conditions.

Each webinar includes a 30-minute presentation followed by a 15-minute optional Q&A, featuring practical insights from industry experts.

Webinars are held fortnightly, with the second in the series taking place on Wednesday 9 July from 12.30pm to 1.30pm (AEST). They are tailored to current seasonal challenges, with topics selected based on regional conditions and farmer feedback to support timely, informed decisions.

The series is free and open to all dairy farmers.

A Zoom link will be sent to those that register prior to the webinar.

Join Matt Harms from On Farm Consulting for the third session in this series, which will cover winter feeding, critical pasture management issues for July–August, stocking rate decisions and spring fodder options.
