Dairy NSW Board director elections 2025

A great way to bring your skills to Dairy NSW is to apply for a director position on the Dairy NSW Board. 

The Board brings experienced farmer and industry representatives together, meeting bi-monthly to continuously improve Dairy NSW services for our state levy payers. Research, development, and extension work is vital to support the Dairy industry in NSW and this is your chance to make a difference by applying for a director position this year.

There are up to three (3) director positions available on the skills-based board. This year we are seeking at least two (2) farmer directors, and one (1) non-farmer (industry) director. 

We also encourage industry representatives to apply through the recruitment process.

We seek diverse thinking and skillsets that complement our current Board. While a broad range of skills are relevant, of particular interest are skills and experience in dairy processing, governance, market development and natural resource management.

Ideally the successful directors will be able to:

• Commit adequate thought, time, and energy to the position for required reading and meeting attendance, as well as committee duties.
• Build and maintain productive working relationships across a broad range of stakeholders.
• Complement the skill set of current directors. 

Director positions are remunerated for attendance at meetings.
