World Antimicrobial Awareness Week (18-24 November) is an initiative by the World Health Organisation that aims to improve the way in which we use antibiotics.

Dairy farmers and their veterinarians have an important role to play in ensuring antibiotics are used well and to minimise the development of antibiotic resistance.
