Our Farm Our Plan

Thanks to the support of the Tasmanian Government, Our Farm Our Plan can help farmers enhance on-farm resilience and preparedness, effectively managing risks to ensure sustainable production and maintain the competitiveness of the Tasmanian dairy sector.

This week, DairyTas successfully concluded the latest Our Farm Our Place workshop. The attending farmers found it to be an excellent starting point for translating their ideas into actionable plans, gaining a clear understanding of both long-term business and personal goals, and documenting them effectively.

DairyTas will now actively support these farmers of the next 2 years to turn their goals into actions so they can achieve their long term vision for both their business and life.

The next Our Farm Our Plan 2-day event is scheduled for 19 & 20 June at Tall Timbers in Smithton.

This event in Smithton will be the final group event prior to the start of spring calving so come along and finalise your goals for next season and work out what action steps you need to take to achieve them.

Make sure you don’t just float through next season but you go into it with a purpose.
