This course aims to improve the skills, knowledge, and confidence of participants to progress and achieve their career goals. This in turn improves on-farm management capacity, enabling more time away from the daily running of the business and increased options for business expansion for farm owners.

Target audience:

Those currently in a manager or 2IC role that would like to further develop or hone their skills

Senior farm hands that are looking to take the next step into a more managerial role

Keen, motivated farm hands that aspire to management style positions in the future

Course structure:

This is a four-day course, held over two days each week for two consecutive weeks. Each day runs from 9:30am for a 10am start-2:30pm (so potentially participants could milk if they had to). Full attendance on all days is required to receive a certificate of attendance. Please note, this is not an accredited course.
