The Green Lightning machine is a plasma-based system that activates water to carry highly available nitrate along with reactive compounds to influence plant growth and soil biology.

During plasma activation, air and water are converted into a mix of nitrate (NO3-), nitric oxide (NO), nitrite (NOc-) and hydrogen peroxide (H2O2).
