This course aims to improve the skills, knowledge, and confidence of participants to progress and achieve their career goals. This in turn improves on-farm management capacity, enabling more time away from the daily running of the business and increased options for business expansion for farm owners.

Target audience:

Those currently in a manager or 2IC role that would like to further develop or hone their skills

Senior farm hands that are looking to take the next step into a more managerial role

Keen, motivated farm hands that aspire to management style positions in the future

Cost:

Nil - this course is levy funded.

Course structure:

It is a four-day course; one day a week for four consecutive weeks. Each day runs from 10am-4pm (so potentially participants could milk in the morning if they had to). Attendance on each day is required to receive a certificate of attendance (it is not an accredited course).
