Join Dairy Australia's Carbon Farming Extension Advisor, Scott Jardine for a practical workshop to support dairy farm businesses with calculating their carbon footprint, preparing for reporting requirements and protecting their profitability.

The workshop will cover:

  • Information on the Australian dairy industrys commitment to reducing greenhouse gas emissions.
  • Thedrivers of farm greenhouse gas emissions, ways to track a farms carbon footprint and an overview of the Australian Carbon Credit Unit scheme.
  • Practical steps for assessing a farms potential productivity improvements whilst reducing their carbon footprint.

Following the workshop, farmers have the option of a one-to-one session to support their specific needs, including more detailed information on calculating and understanding their farm carbon footprint.
