Monitoring for chemical residues in milk

Presenters

Winnie Wong, DFSV and Rob Greenall, Ag Vet Projects, Victoria

Webinar Description

Ongoing chemical monitoring plays a crucial role in ensuring the safety and quality of food products, including dairy. The Australian Milk Residue Analysis (AMRA) Survey has been operational for over 25 years. It verifies the effectiveness of existing controls in place with respect to chemical use and management, while providing insights into potential residues in the milk supply and identifying emerging chemical trends.

This webinar offers an overview of the AMRA Survey and highlights other chemical surveillance initiatives. It also provides practical guidance for businesses looking to establish their own chemical verification testing. Co-presenter Rob Greenall from AgVet projects will also discuss some of the emerging chemical risks identified and monitored by the Australian dairy industry's Industry Working Group.
