Managing the impact of increasing climate extremes on business performance is a growing challenge facing Australian dairy farms. As air temperatures increase above 23C, adaptive responses in cows and pastures decrease potential milk yield.
We invite farmers and service providers to participate in this pilot workshop for a new discussion group activity:to explore how recent research can contribute to on farm strategies to manage the impact of heat stress on feed intake, milk production, and fertility.
