Getting the people management part of a dairy farm sorted and keeping it up to date can be a sizeable task, especially if you are new to employing people. Employment Basics is a fully supported online learning experience designed to assist you to implement and understand what you need to successfully employ someone in your business.

The Employment Basics online course provides you with the skills to attract and recruit the right people, onboard and retain employees in your business. Employment Basics also provides an introduction to your legal responsibilities as an employer, payroll, employee entitlements and includes topics around compliance requirements and termination.Employment Basics aims to grow your confidence and awareness of employment practices to use in your business to create positive, safe and capable dairy workplaces.

The program is delivered through Enlight, Dairy Australias online learning space and is supported by a series of online group workshops with workforcespecialist, Di Gresham.Participants complete 7 independent online learning modules over the course duration.
