Expressions of Interest - Euthanise Livestock

Please register for this event to express your interest in attending a Euthanase Livestock workshop.

This workshop will go ahead once sufficient interest is shown and will be held in a location most suitable for registered attendees.

Occasionally, euthanasia is required to prevent or minimise the pain and suffering of sick or injured animals. It is important that those in charge of the care of dairy animals have the skills and resources to ensure when euthanasia is required, it occurs in a skilled and timely manner. The dairy sectors euthanasia policies are developed in line with the law, the expectations of the community and to ensure best care for all animals.

Dairy Australias Euthanase Livestock workshops provide knowledge, skills and assesses dairy farm staff/service providers in the humane euthanasia of dairy cattle. It is suitable for anybody responsible for the euthanasia of dairy cattle.

The course includes both theory and practical components.
