Subtropical Dairy invites you or your staff to participate in an accredited first aid course called Provide First Aid which is the industry standard course for workplaces.
The Provide First Aid coursecomprises an online, pre-study component followed by an in-class practical course.There are no prerequisites for this course.
TheFirst Aid course satisfies three competency units from the Health Training Package (HLT07):
HLTAID001: Provide Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation
HLTAID002: Provide Basic Emergency Life Support
HLTAID003: Provide First Aid
The course will cover the following:
Soft Tissue Injuries;
Wounds and Bandaging;
Poisoning Bites and Stings.
RSVP is essential.
Morning tea and lunch will be provided.Please wear comfortable clothing and shoes.
This course is being financially subsidised by Subtropical Dairy.Participants will be required to pay $100 incl. GST.

You will be required to pay for your course on registration with a credit card payment of $100 pp.Once registered a tax invoice and receipt is sent to the person paying for the course and further details will be emailed to each participant to get started with the online learning component.
The required pre-course online material is substantial so that we can keep the face-to-face component to between milkings.Please allow plenty of time to get the online material completed.You can do this over any number of sessions - it does not need to be completed all at once.
Please note:When demonstrating your ability to perform CPR, you must be able to perform 2 minutes of CPR on the ground.If you have any injuries which may prevent you from working on the ground then you will not be deemed competent. Unfortunately you you cannot perform CPR on a table, the completion of CPR on the ground is an Australian Resuscitation Council requirement.
