Set your dairy career in the right direction with this intensive YDN focused Our Farm, Our Plan event. Taking place in the picturesque seaside town of Lorne, the sessions will help you formulate a plan in order to achieve your farming and personal goals.

In order to minimise time away from the farm, the workshop will run between 12-5pm on Mon 3rd June and then start again at 8am-12pm on Tue 4th June.

We will also have a social dinner for all participants at the Lorne Hotel on the Monday night.

Places are limited to 15 farm businesses, so please secure your spot today!

Tea/coffee and snacks will be available during the event - please let us know if you have any dietary requirements.

**If youre able to bring along a laptop or iPad/tablet for a section of work, that would be ideal, but not essential.

While there is no work that is needed to be completed before the event, please check out the Farm Fitness Checklist which is something we will be looking into on day 1. You can sign up by clicking here. Books will be available on the day for those who cant signup, but if you have laptop/iPad, its a great online tool to use each year in your business.

The day will begin at 12pm sharp with lunch arrival.

Our Farm, Our Plan is a new program developed by Dairy Australia with support from the Gardiner Dairy Foundation. It is designed to equip farmers to clarify their long term goals, prioritise and identify actions needed, and to better manage uncertainty and risk.

Having a clear view of long term business and personal goals helps to make better decisions, especially the big decisions. Our Farm, Our Plan keeps it simple and takes long term plans and ideas from dairy farmers' heads and gets them down on one page. The Plan on a Page requires agreement, is able to be shared and enables farmers to track their progress.

Farmers consistently say how much they enjoy the benefits of being involved in the "Our Farm, Our Plan" program, like it's for every age at every stage, they have also enjoyed having the opportunity to have both the group discussions and smaller one to one session.
