- Wheat: Up $5 ($295 to $305/tonne). Barley: Up $5 ($260 to $270/tonne). Maize: Steady ($385 to $395/tonne). Sorghum: Down $10 ($295 to $305/tonne).
- Prices have increased after the Christmas break, as some growers have reduced the amount of wheat offered, preferring to maintain grain in storage.
- With the harvest finished in most regions of New South Wales, barley prices have remained steady over the Christmas break.
- Following improved weather and favourable forecasts, new crop sorghum prices have come under pressure.
