Farmers invited to dairy forum in Moama

Dairy Australia is inviting farmers to join a discussion on feedbase, climate and the next generation at a forum in Moama, New South Wales on Tuesday 28 November 2023. Dairy Australia will also hold their Annual General Meeting (AGM) as part of the day.

The forum features sessions throughout the afternoon and evening, including a panel discussion on how dairy farmers have adapted their feedbase and risk management strategies to be more resilient in a changing climate. Dairy farmers from the Murray region including Jacob Gardiner (Northern Victoria), Deanne Hore (Leitchville) and Dustin Kemp (Lockington), will share their experience.

Investing in the next generation of farmers will be the focus at dinner. A panel of young farmers from Kiewa Valley, Katandra West, Rochester, and Tatura will discuss their involvement in a recent leadership development program.

The Farmer Forum will be held at Moama RSL, 56 Merool Rd, Moama, NSW. Farmers are invited to attend in person or participate online. There is no cost to attend the forum, but registration is required by 20 November 2023 for catering purposes.
