Employers are required by regulations to manage electrical risks by ensuring that all electrical installations and equipment are safe to use. Even if contractors or workers provide their own electrical equipment, the dairy farm manager has a responsibility to ensure that it is safe.
We would like to invite you to attend a Farm Safety Workshop on Power & Electrical and Contractors. The workshop, which will be led by David Knight, Education & Engagement Advisor at SafeWork SA, will provide insights into the latest safety standards and risk management practices, aiming to prevent electrical shocks and injuries, and to ensure the safety of contractors on the farm.
During the workshop, attendees will be provided with resources such as SOPs, safety assessment tools, and templates, to help them establish or improve their existing dairy farm safety systems.
