FertSmart - Corangamite CMA's Sustainable Dairies program

Sustainable Dairies is a four-day course, three days held over two months in November 2025 and February 2026 and a final day at the end of the 2026. Participants will complete a Fert$mart course to better understand soil properties, constraints and nutrient management option. As a participant each farm will receive five soil tests and a comprehensive nutrient management plan. Other topics include:

• effluent management
• soil carbon
• soil acidity
• farm biodiversity
• soil biology
• Visual Soil Assessment
• Landcare in the region.

The Diverse Farms, Resilient Catchments - growing diversity and resilience on-farms, in communities and across landscapes project is supported by the Australian Government through funding from the Natural Heritage Trust under the Climate-Smart Agriculture Program.
