Strategic Plan
Dairy Australia’s current Strategic Plan sets our priorities and outcomes that we will deliver from July 2020 to July 2025.
2025-30 Strategic Plan development
The 2025-2030 Dairy Australia Strategic Plan is in the final stages of development and will outline our priorities and investments over the next five years.
An extensive, industry-wide consultation plan was carried out to shape the development of these priorities, with dedicated in-person and online workshops held for farmers and industry stakeholders across a range of locations.
To build a broader sense of farmer priorities in each region, data from additional sources, including farm engagement plans and consultation sessions with state dairy farming organisations, were consolidated and analysed.
Detailed information regarding the consultation process, alongside a summary of stakeholder insights, can be found in the Regional Consultation Playback – Dairy Australia Strategic Plan 2030 report.
Our strategic priorities
The current strategic plan aligns with industry needs and embodies our vision. There are six priorities that contribute to delivering improved profitability and a more sustainable dairy industry, and a seventh priority that gives focus to organisational drivers of performance.
Dairy Australia works closely with dairy farmers and other industry stakeholders to understand their needs and direct our investment priorities. We provide a wide range of services that deliver value to dairy farm businesses and the dairy supply chain. Our investments in innovation are focused on creating new and transformational opportunities for the dairy industry.
