Join Dairy Australia's Carbon Farming Extension Advisor, Scott Jardine for a practical workshop to support dairy farm businesses with calculating their carbon footprint, preparing for reporting requirements and protecting their profitability.

The workshop will cover:

• Information on the Australian dairy industrys commitment to reducing greenhouse gas emissions.
• Thedrivers of farm greenhouse gas emissions, ways to track a farms carbon footprint and an overview of the Australian Carbon Credit Unit scheme.
• Practical steps for assessing a farms potential productivity improvements whilst reducing their carbon footprint.

This workshop is delivered to help Burra Foods suppliers to prepare for upcoming one-to-one sessions to calculate and understand their farm carbon footprint.
