Everyone is welcome for an in-depth discussion to provide exposure to how water moves from the storage through the channels to support irrigation including;

  • Purpose and history of Glenmaggie, the catchment, and how the dam is operated to ensure water for irrigation and how the dam is operated though a flooding event.
  • Allocation of water for irrigation and the environment, including how our allocation assessment process is put into practice.
  • Operation of the irrigation system, including planning of water delivery and our development to an automated system.
  • Tour across the Glenmaggie Dam wall

PPE Requirements | All attendees will need to wear enclosed, flat, sturdy footwear - lace-up boots are preferred, but runners with soles with good grip are accepted. Attendees will also need to wear Hi-Vis.


This will be an interactive session and will conclude with a light lunch kindly donated by Delaval
