Milking and Mastitis Management

This two day course is for dairy farm workers, managers, and owners to gain (or refresh) fundamental knowledge and practical skills to:

• Identify, treat and reduce risk of mastitis
• Understand best practice for milking routine
• Manage milk plant hygiene to support good milk quality on farm.

The course, delivered by Dairy Australia Countdown advisor veterinarian Dr Debbie Twiss and includes farm practical session on day two. Participants will receive resources to support mastitis detection and prevention on farm.

Morning tea and lunch are provided on both days.
