Fall armyworm (FAW) is a highly destructive pest capable of damaging maize, sorghum, ryegrass and oat pastures quickly.Early detection and correct identification can make all the difference in the amount of damage to forages.Knowing your options and developing a management plan could reduce your farms risk of loosing valuable fodder.
Join Dairy Australia Dairy NSW and industry experts for an informative workshop covering integrated pest management, effective spray practises and the latest in using drones to control FAW.Participants will receive our new FAW risk & assessment tools and field guide developed by Qld DPI FAW scientist Dr Melina Miles.

The workshop will cover:
10am - 11.30am:
Identifying FAW from other caterpillars in an interactive session.
Monitoring crops or pastures & recognising FAW damage.
Developing a pest management plan.
Hear about Local Land Services FAW surveillance system across dairy farms in NSW.
