Feeding Pastures for Profit (FPFP) - Beechworth

Feeding Pastures for Profit (FPFP) program aims to help dairy farmers to develop skills and gain confidence in making decisions around:

1. How much pasture do I allocate to the herd today?

2. How much supplement should I be giving the herd today?

These decisions have a large impact on farm profit through making the most of the farm businesss available resources.

The program runs for 7-8 months from April- December following pastures and their life cycle for efficient management.

This year's program will be run by facilitator Phil Shannon.

Starting dates for this program are:

Theory Day 1- Thursday 02 April- Beechworth

Theory Day 2- Thursday 09 April- Beechworth

On Farm Day 1- Thursday 30 April - Around the King Valley - Farm TBC

Remaining 4 on farm days dates and locations will be discussed with the group and confirmed as the course goes.
