Managing farm costs is fundamental to running a successful dairy farm business. Year in, year out costs contribute to the bottom line and profit achieved by farmers, and in tight years the need to understand costs and manage cash flow is critical.

This half-day workshop will introduce the Farm Business Snapshot tool and Dairy Australias Standard Chart of Accounts, while taking farmers through whats involved in looking at their present and forecast cash position. It will discuss the levers that can be pulled to better manage costs with a view to the long-term profitability of the farm.
