YDN Milking and Mastitis Management

Milking and Mastitis Management is developed by Dairy Australia and delivered by Dr Luke Ingenhoff from the University of Sydney, bringing current research and realworld dairy experience together in an engaging, practical format.

The program incorporates essential, practical milking and udder health skills, with a strong focus on what actually happens in the dairy.

Participants will learn bestpractice milk harvesting techniques, with an emphasis on the detection, treatment, and prevention of clinical mastitis.

This oneday compressed course delivers the key learnings of the full program in a practical, accessible format, building confidence and competence for the next generation of dairy farmers and staff.
