2026 YDN Pasture Walk

Join us for a one-day workshop that will introduce you to how to grow, manage and understand Rye grass. This is a snap shot, one day session taking key principles from our Feeding Pastures For Profit Program that would usually run over 7 days. The day will finish off with a pasture walk on the host farm.

This event is aimed at new entrants to the industry and people with little to no pasture knowledge to understand how leaves grow, what influences them and how we can best manage to maximise growth, quality and regrowth.

The basics of growing ryegrass pasture

When to graze

When to graze again

How to get the most production out of pasture

What to do with surplus grass
