Young Dairy Network-WA Pasture Walk

Join us for a one-day workshop that will introduce you to how to grow, manage and understand ryegrass. This is a snapshot, one day session taking key principles from our Feeding Pastures for Profit program that would usually run over 7 days. The day will include a pasture walk on the host farm.

This event is aimed at new entrants to the industry and people with little to no pasture knowledge.

Topics will include:

• The basics of growing ryegrass pasture
• When to graze
• How to get the most production out of pasture
• What to do with surplus grass

*Bring appropriate clothing + footwear for pasture walk*
