Understanding Farm Carbon Workshop - Casino NSW

Join Dairy Australias Carbon Farming Extension Advisor, Heidi Barnier, for a practical workshop to support dairy farm businesses with calculating their carbon footprint, preparing for reporting requirements and protecting their profitability.

The workshop will cover:

• Information on the Australian dairy industrys commitment to reducing greenhouse gas emissions.
• Thedriversof farm greenhouse gas emissions, ways to track a farms carbon footprint and an overview of the Australian Carbon Credit Unit scheme.
• Practicalsteps for assessing a farms potential productivity improvements whilst reducing their carbon footprint.

Following the workshop, farmers have the option of a one-to-one session to support their specific needs, including more detailed information on calculating and understanding their farm carbon footprint.
