Spring into Action Events

'Spring into Action' Free Events including a meal

Due to the dry conditions in parts of mainland Australia and global grain shortages dairy businesses in Tasmania will be impacted. As we know, grain prices and urea prices have increased as has the value of standing pasture conserved for hay & silage. To manage this DairyTas & TIA are organising events around the State.
The 'Spring into Action' events are designed to help you with planning your feed options for this season. In the week commencing 8th October, there will be an event in most regions.

Guest speaker for this event will be Pip Gale

Pip will be talking on making the most of home grown feed, assessing feed options and cost effective use of supplementary feeds.

These events will also have a prominent agronomist attending, who can help you with assessing your forage crop options.

TIA will also give presentation about effective & efficient irrigation for maximising pasture available water. Seasonal farm safety will also be discussed.

The DAY events will be held from 10:30am - 2pm including morning tea & Lunch
