Why DairyBase was created

Every on-farm decision is made based on a combination of experience, data, and gut feel. Independent and reliable data to support on-farm decisions is often hard to find. Dairy Australia works with farmers and the broader industry to establish common language, terminology and metrics about farm performance, and provides tools like DairyBase to equip farmers to measure and track farm performance. This enables dairy farmers to better understand where they sit compared to others, informing future decisions.
