The 2018 Dairy Australia Annual General Meeting (AGM) was held on Friday, 30 November 2018 in Melbourne.

The AGM was an opportunity for farmers to connect and network with other members and Dairy Australia team members. Presentations by Mr Jeff Odgers (Chair of Dairy Australia) and Mr David Nation (Managing Director of Dairy Australia) acknowledged the achievements of 2017/18 and set the agenda for the year ahead. Members were invited to ask questions at the meeting.

Official items of business in 2018 included:

  • Financial Statements and Reports
  • Change to the Constitution
  • Election of Directors

Dairy Australia members voted to elect three candidates to the board of the organisation. James Mann, David Lord and Roseanne Healy were elected to fill the director vacancies, each of the three roles requiring unique skills and expertise.

The new appointments strengthen Dairy Australia’s focus on all of the supply chain, processing, markets, food and sustainability. David Lord and Roseanne Healy replace retiring directors John McKillop and David Mallinson.
