This is an outstanding opportunity to join our Farm Business Management team where there is a culture driven by research and innovation and industry stewardship.  We work closely with all levels of industry and they are seeking to add a candidate with experience in commercial farm management or agribusiness finance to their team. Working in a dedicated business unit, the role of Program Manager will focus on the delivery of an existing strategy and projects to a defined stakeholder group nationally.

The role will require the successful applicant to create and demonstrate value both externally and internally by developing and implementing the defined and existing programs. Critical to the role will be the ability to manage these projects and programs at all industry levels and within strict timelines, producing outcomes of value for all dairy farmer and stakeholders, particularly farm business service providers.

To be successful in this role, you will have extensive (7-10 years) experience within agribusiness  (exposure to Dairy preferred but not essential)  in a commercial or farm financial management or associated capacity and/or have experience in extension based positions. The position has a key leadership role in providing strong stakeholder management, expertise and collaboration between all external parties. Therefore, you must have well developed communication, influencing and presentation skills. Based in Melbourne, the role will require travel as required on a regular, but well-planned basis.
