Pasture Growth Report Tasmania

The Pasture Growth report provides up-to-date insights into pasture growing conditions across Tasmania's dairy farming regions.

Each week, the Tasmanian Institute of Agriculture (TIA) and Dairy Australia complete an assessment of pasture growth, evapotranspiration and leaf emergence rates.

The report includes recent and historical growing conditions, soil moisture budget guides and forecasted weather conditions. Regions covered in the report are Smithton, Elliott, Meander, Scottsdale, Sheffield, Bushy Park/Ouse and King Island.

This initiative is supported by the Tasmanian Government through the Principles of Pasture - Pasture Growth Report program.
