This workshop combines theory and practical sessions to help people learn about:

  • Creating a clean, comfortable environment for calf rearing
  • Colostrum management
  • Safely stomach-tubing a calf
  • Calf identification, vaccinations and castration
  • Meeting the nutritional requirements of calf
  • Identifying and treating sick calves
