Join Agriculture Victoria, GippsDairy and project partners for a full-day research showcase exploring the latest work underway in multispecies pastures, dairy soils, and pasture system innovation for Gippsland dairy farms.

This field day will provide farmers, service providers and industry participants with the opportunity to hear directly from researchers and farmers involved in the Resilient Forages, DairySoils and Pasture 365 projects, with discussions focused on practical applications, current learnings, and future opportunities for pasture-based dairy systems.

The morning session at Ellinbank will include paddock-based updates from current trials and research projects, followed by a visit to a local Pasture 365 demonstration farm at Moyarra hosted by Brian Corr. The afternoon session will explore farmer experiences with alternative pasture species, on-farm experimentation, and upcoming technology adoption including Halter.

This is a great opportunity to connect research with practical farming experiences and discuss how pasture innovation can support productive, resilient and sustainable dairy systems.
