Join the Lakes and Craters Discussion Group for an informal evening session where we will look at the latest challenge facing us high fertiliser costs, in particular nitrogen.

Hewitt and Whitty agronomist, Shaun Mahoney, will discuss different considerations and tactics to ensure you are getting the best bang for your buck when applying nitrogen to your pastures this winter and spring.

A key part of the night will be sharing experiences and learnings from the feed shortage of the past few years. Whilst moisture was our limiting factor during much of that time, now the cost of urea (along with lower response rates in winter) threatens to reduce profitability and possibly push farmers back into the feed market.

As usual with these nighttime events, we wont drown you in PowerPoint presentations. We will discuss what is relevant to you and your farm but allow plenty of time to catch-up and enjoy some food and drinks. in a social setting.

A pizza dinner will be provided, drinks at bar prices. Please RSVP for catering purposes.
