Come and hear from Vet, Joe Skuse from Tallangatta Vets with an interactive 2-day program, giving participants knowledge and skills to manage fundamental principles of rearing healthy calves. On day 2 participants will review application of principles in a calf rearing system on farm.

- Preparation for calving
- Colostrum management
- Calf feeding; weaning
- Calf health management
- Review of basic husbandry procedures
- Calf identification
- Bobby calf management
- Calf rearing environment
PLEASE NOTE: This is running as a split workshop. Day 1 on Thursday 25th will cover the theory component of the course and touch on some practical practices. We will then hold day 2 likely in early August, on farm, when we have calves in the shed. Date will be shared with group with locked in once calving starts
