With calving not that far away now is a great time to be thinking about bull selection for mating later in the year.

As the industry looks at different options for managing surplus calves one of these is dairy beef. For dairy beef animals to do well careful consideration of bull genetics is required.

This meeting we will be visiting Sarah and Michael Mather who run an Angus beef stud at New River where we will discuss bull selection and traits to consider if targeting the dairy beef market.
