Come hear from Claire Flannigan from Apiam Vet clinic - Finley for an interactive 2-day program, giving participants knowledge and skills to manage fundamental principles of rearing healthy calves. Day 1 will be in the classroom learning key theory and then day 2 we'll step out on farm and get hands on with the theory we've learnt from day 1 and review application of principles in a calf rearing system on farm.

Program topics include preparation for calving; colostrum management; calf feeding; weaning; calf health management; review of basic husbandry procedures; calf identification; bobby calf management and the calf rearing environment.
